MOXI Clinton, Utah

MOXI is a non-ablative, fractionated wavelength, that delivers dramatic tonal and textural improvements to your face with little to no downtime, as it features a gentle non-ablative laser that corrects pigmentation issues. MOXI was specifically designed to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging without downtime. This treatment targets skin concerns such as wrinkles, minor skin laxity, signs of sun damage, pore texture, and uneven skin tone. This is also a great treatment to combine with our Forever Young BBL. During an initial consultation for a MOXI treatment, your provider will personalize your treatment plan, including the number of sessions, configuration, and complementary treatments, to meet your lifestyle needs and properly address your skin concerns.
Once you are in for treatment and a topical numbing cream sets, your provider will configure MOXI to the settings best suited to achieve your ideal results. As they glide the MOXI laser across the skin, you may feel a slight warming sensation, which means the laser is doing its job!
The treatment itself creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin; the body naturally repairs these zones and replaces damaged cells with new ones. MOXI revitalizes skin without breaking the surface, which makes this a quick healing process.

FAQs

How many MOXI treatments will I need?

This will depend on your treatment goals and the level of correction desired. Most patients receive 3 to 4 corrective MOXI treatments, then often elect for regular maintenance treatments. Talk to your practitioner about your goals and they can advise you on the best treatment regimen.

How long does it take to see results after a MOXI treatment?

Results will vary depending on your treatment goals and the plan you set forth with your provider. For the day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called “mendz” where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3 and 5, the mendz will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.

Is the MOXI laser painful?

Differing levels of treatment may affect the sensations you feel during treatment, but most patients find the MOXI treatment experience very tolerable. The numbing cream prior to the procedure minimizes discomfort, and your provider may also use a cooling air to keep you comfortable during. Simply put, this is one of the most gentle, low-pain laser treatments on the market.

Does MOXI work on darker skin tones?

Absolutely! Since the MOXI laser isn’t as strong or invasive as its counterparts, it lessens the risk of hyper or hypopigmentation after treatment. Of course, if you ever have specific questions or concerns based on your skin tone, your provider will have all the training and experience to answer your additional questions.
