There are three types of chemical peels you can request. The type of peel depends on your goals and what skin damage you are trying to change.
Level I Chemical Peels remove the surface layer of your skin, but it is very gentle. Level I peels are the perfect remedy for an upcoming event, or a quick pick me up. These are great for maintenance and an intro to a chemical peel. Level I peels can be done once every two to three weeks.
Level II chemical peels remove skin imperfections more aggressively than your Level I peel. These are where we go if your skin needs to address bigger concerns such as uneven skin, deeper wrinkles, and acne scars. Level II chemical peels can be done every three to four weeks. For big concerns that we are trying to address, we recommend doing a series of peels to see your most optimal results.
