To determine a patient’s appropriate dosage for their needs and concerns, our Nurse Injectors will sit with their client and consult before any injections begin. They will take the time to walk patients through a Botox treatment and answer any questions you may have.
To ensure our patients at SkinFX are satisfied with their results and experience with their Botox injections, we offer touch up and follow up appointments after their initial injections appointment. Our Botox providers follow up with all Botox patients two weeks after their original appointment. Patients have two weeks to return to the clinic and have their injector asses their skin and make any tweaks if necessary. We accept specific reward programs in office where patients can receive discounts on their treatment, as well as run monthly specials on specific services in office. What Are BOTOX® and Dysport®?
BOTOX® and Dysport® are injectable treatments for wrinkles that temporarily relax the muscles. Here at Skin FX, we trust both brands and our expert nurse injectors to discuss and decide if Botox or Dysport would be best for your situation! Everyday expressions like smiling, frowning, and laughing contribute to contracting muscles creating wrinkles over time, and contributes to the facial features looking older. Common injection sites include forehead lines that happen when frowning or those pesky lines around the nose and eyes. In addition, these products treat protruding neck bands as well as a gummy smile. Is there a difference between BOTOX® and Dysport®?
Both products neurotoxins that are made from botulinum toxin A. They work almost the same. Your Meeting with our Professionals.
At your preliminary visit, you meet one of our expert Nurse Practitioners and one of our expert nurse injectors. They will review all concerns and build a customized treatment plan and goals made WITH you and just for YOU! Our nurse practitioner will go through our medical history and make sure you have no muscle or nerve conditions detrimental to Botox or Dysport. The exact treatment plan uses injectables to create a natural-looking and younger appearance.
Your Treatment.
During treatment, injections will be put directly into the muscles of concern. We use an extremely thin needle, and most clients experience only minimal discomfort. We generally use about three to five injections in each treatment area. The procedure takes about 20 minutes.
Your Recovery & Results.
Most clients notice softening in a few days, and you can expect your BOTOX® or Dysport® injections to last 3 to 4 months, at which time you can schedule another treatment session. Although lines in the face may decrease and seemingly disappear, you will need to receive injections regularly to maintain the effects.

What Are Possible Side Effects of BOTOX® and Dysport® Treatments?
Side effects for these injectable treatments are usually minimal, and patients can return to their normal routines right away. There may be slight pain at the injection site or minor swelling and bruising. However, the side effects are temporary and will subside quickly. More severe complications include double vision, drooping eyelids, blurred vision, and swollen eyes. Serious side effects should be reported to one of our nurse injectors immediately.
